I just completed my 14th year in education with the Othello School District, the last five of which have been in the roles of assistant principal and principal of Wahitis Elementary. I have had the pleasure of teaching 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades before entering administration. Each year of teaching and serving as a building administrator has added to my understanding of what children need to be successful and the different systems that have powerful effects on student learning.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah, a Master in Education degree from Washington State University, and a Washington State Principal Certification from Whitworth University. I am enrolled in the Doctorate of Educational Leadership and Administration program through Gonzaga University. I enjoy music, reading, and spending time with my family.
